Bankruptcy Education
CCCS provides the education program Money In Motion. Money In Motion is available for completion in the classroom or online. The time required for this bankruptcy education program is two hours. The cost is $25 per person. Payment may be made by money order, cashier’s check, online, or cash if paying in person. Fees will be waived upon request with verification that income is at or below the poverty level or if your filing fees are being waived.
Classroom education is conducted each Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:00 PM in the Rapid City office only. Registration is completed at 5:30 before the class begins. Please call us at 1-800-568-6615 or 605-348-4550 to register for classroom education.
Please read the Statement of Bankruptcy Education and complete the Bankruptcy Education Registration form and mail, fax or email this form to us. Once we receive your completed form and payment, we will issue you a login and password for the online program. After you have completed the program and we have verified that you have spent 2 hours in the program, we will issue you a certificate
Approval to issue certificates evidencing completion of a budget and credit counseling session and of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a provider’s service.
